Cold-Blooded Picross

A narrative picross game where you play as the owner of a small repair shop, a lizard named Vinnie who's just trying to make it through the winter. Repair miscellaneous items for customers by solving picross puzzles to keep up with your heat bills. How much you make will depend on the quality of the repair, your interaction with the customer, and their comfort.

Controls:

Walk/move cursor: WASD or arrow keys

Interact/interact with cell/advance dialog: ENTER

Swap between fill cell + place X: SPACE

Skip dialog/free mouse: ESC

Return to menu: M

There are some issues and it might crash before you actually get to the ending, but this is also my first game and first game jam so it is what it is! Made for Godot Wild Jam #53 in Jan. 2023. Theme: assembly required. Wildcards used: four-color palette (sort of), temperature as a mechanic, twist ending.
